I wrote gear reviews for  OudoorGearLab.com from 2010-2016, the last four of those years also working as a managing editor. As a managing editor, I hired reviewers, selected products to review,  prioritized and managed projects, copy-edited content with special attention to SEO, and formatted content on to the website. This site won Outside Magazine‘s award for Top Gear Blog in 2011 when I was a core member of the team.
